Preperation

Hey so my thoughts always come flooding in at inconvenient times!
Does anyone else have that problem?

But one thought they has been re-occurring is the thought of preperation.

We live in a generation that doesn't exactly prepare but in fact have the "she'll be right" attitude.
I was one of those "she'll be right" people, but have come to realise that it doesn't quite work that way.

I have been desperately trying to get my bikini body ready to parade through summer. So I tried all those quick fixes like:
  • Cutting my meals in half. (oh that was fun i watched the weight just drop off in just 1 week) but as soon as I was satisfied with my look I went back to eating normally and then wondered why my weight found my body again.
  • Not eating any breads (oh soo many times did that fail, no fibre=more time hanging out at the porcelain express!)
  • Sticking to strict diet regimes.
Anyway my point that I'm trying to make is you have to be prepared to put in the preperation to get results.
Yes it may take more than 1 second to prepare for that next exciting job/promotion/location/special person etc, but it is soo worth it

I will keep you posted as to how the bikini body goes!

The Value of Money

I had a thought during the week on the way to work on a bus.

I was thinking about how money controls people and people do obscure things to get money. But in the end is it worth it?

If I gave you $100 to go spend at sunshine plaza, (some of you are thinking that isn't enough for what I want) you would with no doubt come back and ask for more. I believe that the value of money changes depending on how we use it.
If you spend your money on things that don't help or reach out to people than your monies value goes down and it becomes worthless.

But if you go put that in church offerings or sponsor a child or even give to charities than your money becomes more valuable and is worth more because you are reaching out to someone else instead of yourself.
