Rollercoaster Rides

So life often reminds of a roller-coaster ride, you never know what is gonna happen, the turns the drops and the fear you will have.
I think we can learn a few things from roller-coaster rides:

1. Choose who you sit next to very wisely.
If you sit next to someone who is hysterical, you too will be hysterical. We often mould around the people around us. Its funny you can always tell what a person is like by just looking at their friends!

2. You can never predict what is around the corner.
This week has been the perfect example, I lost 4.5cm off my waist. Yay! I was soo excited and floating on a cloud, couldn't believe it. But then 24 hours later found out that an old friend had passed away. You never know what is around the corner!!

3. The ride all happens so quickly and in the blink of an eye it's over!
Life is too short to worry about the name of the ride, the amount of people it holds, how comfy you are etc. cause in the end you only get that initial thrill once. Similar to life you only have one.

Friends in times of need

I recently relocated to Sydney, for better opportunity. It is always soo daunting starting off in a new town. New work mates, new hairdresser new faces left right and centre! I am so thankful to the crew at Hillsong who just embraced me and made the move that much better!
When you receive love I think it inturn causes you to pay it forward. I know that has made me want to go out and love up on someone in a similar situation as me!

Love is patient!!!

Hey all!!

So for the month of feb. We as a youth are studying 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. This verse is ohh so common
I hear it that much. But until now I never really felt the urge to pursue it deeper. The verse that struck me was:
Love is patient

It has been a challenge for me to show patience when you know exactly what you want to do but have to start small
and work your way up. But even simpler than that, it's waiting that extra 5 minutes for the light to go green, the bus that is late
or that person that totally cuts you off.

Blessings in disguise

Hey all
Praise the Lord!!!
So my car got found!!!
2 hours later down the street
ahh what a relief. Things can only get better after spending what seemed like forever doing all the logistics behind it, it is safely home. Now it just needs to be finger printed and cleaned up
thank goodness it wasn't smashed up, with only the spare tyre missing, I am thankful that i still have it!

Blessings in disguise

Hi y'all
(been hanging with ellie too long hahah)

So i woke up this morning feeling refreshed and reading to go have breakfast with a friend exercise and get ready for a wedding today. Well that all changed really quickly when i took out the rubbish and found my car gone!!
At first i was soo devastated and angry, but after having time to cool down I have come to the conclusion that it may in fact be a blessing in disguise.

I hear you saying freak!!
My sister had to sit me down and talk me through she couldn't understand how I was saying this.

I have plans to move to sydney at the end of the month. I hope to pursue modelling, but as everyone knows it is such a vicious industry and I am not in peak condition atm. So i have a month to do this.
With no car i am restricted to buses, walking or a bike. Perfect for getting fit and in shape.
In sydney I will have no where to park my car! WOW gee the big man upstairs really is a thinker!

I have found that when things go wrong I find many people curse, hate and ask why?

I have realized that no matter how much i do this the situation is not going to change. But if we have a healthy positive outlook on it, things can only get better.
Life is full of bumps and turns. I am seeing this as a learning curve and and attitude test.
Thank you God !!!

oh and btw

This is my advice for you
Don't leave your keys in ignition even if you live in a quiet street
not worth it!!
